The belt conveyor system is a one of a kind long distance freight conveying system in a factory, mining site, etc. A belt conveyor system consists of two or more pulleys (sometimes referred to as drums), with a closed-loop carrier medium - the conveyor belt - rotating around it. One or both pulleys are powered, moving the belt and the material on the belt forward. There are two main industrial classes of belt conveyors; those who handle general materials such as mobile cardboard boxes in factories and handling bulk materials such as those used to transport large amounts of agricultural resources and materials, such as granulated sugar, salt, coal, ore, sand, sacks of cement, stones and others.
